Fig

The fig is a fruit symbol of the Mediterranean history and culture. It has dressed Adam and Eve after the original sin, it is in a fresco inside the 4000 year-old pyramid of Gizech and has created a shade for the she-wolf that suckled Romolo and Remo. It has been the vital food in support of rural populations and today it is a fruit that is appreciated by “gourmets” and by the awarded chefs who have create endless recipes both sweet and saulty.
